The Privacy Act 1988 - do its provisions apply to RESA?

It seems unlikely that the Privacy Act applies to RESA at present, as it seems that RESA falls within the exception provided for small businesses.

However RESA has chosen to voluntarily comply with the Privacy Act, because it is committed to meeting increasing customer and member expectations about privacy.
